Dear Donors, Sponsors and Friends,

It is with my heartfelt gratitude that I write this letter to officially announce the closure of Women Helping Women Hong Kong, effective January 2023.

For the past 12 years, it has been my greatest honor to have the opportunity to serve and achieve such an important milestone. During our decade-long operation, our nonprofit charitable organization offered awareness building and psychological therapy to underprivileged women and children facing domestic violence and abuse. We collaborated with countless renowned designers and local artists to bring awareness to domestic violence and raise funds toward our programs, and we collaborated with several reputable NGOs to create most effective programs that to date we have reached and benefitted over 70 thousand families in Hong Kong—a number far greater than I could have ever imagined; specially throughout the pandemic which helped the city’s most vulnerable.

On behalf of the WHWHK Board of Directors, we are deeply grateful to each donor and sponsor for their tremendous generosity over the years. We couldn’t have achieved all this without your financial support. I certainly hope we will cross paths in the future as we continue the journey of giving to contribute to our community and to make Hong Kong a better place for all. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart for your support. You will always be a part of the WHWHK legacy.

My deepest appreciation goes to all our Board Members and Committee Members, for their contribution and support over the years.  I am extremely pleased with our collective achievements and the significant progress our programs have made towards improving the emotional and mental health of underprivileged women and children. Our reputation in Hong Kong society as a trusted and transparent women organization is the legacy we leave behind.  I am grateful for the opportunity to serve alongside such dynamic professional women who remain my friends.

Although we reach the end of the chapter in our WHWHK journey, this is not a goodbye, let us continue to be generous and pursue our charitable efforts no matter big or small and give to the causes that are close to our hearts specially during this holiday season.

I leave you with my favorite quote from author Bryant McGill, “Giving is the master key to success, in all applications of human life; for it is in giving that we receive.”

With my deepest gratitude,
